# Open Standards

> *The DCN Standard is an open, vendor-neutral specification designed to enable global interoperability for Physical Digital Assets. Any organization may build compatible hardware, software, wallets, merchant systems, Publisher platforms, or blockchain adapters by implementing the publicly available specification.*
